What CStonx collects, for how long and how to stay in control: a summary of personal data.
1 min read
This summary doesn’t replace the terms of use and personal data policy, which prevail.
What the app does
- It doesn’t read CS2 memory, doesn’t inject anything and doesn’t modify any game file, except an official configuration provided by Valve that it installs and removes at your request.
- It doesn’t sign in to your Steam account.
- It only sends the public Steam IDs of the players and the match state to the website, over an encrypted connection.
What the website keeps
| Data | Duration |
|---|---|
| Current match | Until the next match |
| Match history | 1 to 7 days depending on your setting (3 by default) |
| Per-player match stats and CStonx analysis history | One year at most, deleted with the account |
| Leetify data | A few minutes in memory, never stored |
| Sign-in session | 7 days at most, or until you sign out |
| Notifications | 30 days |
| Feedback sent with “Give feedback” | Until the team handles it, or until your account is deleted |
| Personal notes, watched players, linked Discord account, import codes | Until you delete or turn them off, or until your account is deleted |
Cookies and analytics
No ads, no tracking: a session cookie for the Steam sign-in, a language cookie and browser storage for the theme. Analytics are anonymous, cookie-free and respect the “Do Not Track” signal.
Stay in control
- Make your page unlisted or private and shorten your history retention.
- Edit or delete your notes at any time.
- Turn off imports, unlink Discord or mute notifications from your settings.
- Any player, even without an account, can ask for their information to be hidden or deleted by contacting the publisher (see the Terms).
