General
- What is CStonx?#
- A stats tool for Counter-Strike 2, in the spirit of Porofessor for League of Legends. A small Windows app identifies the players in your match and the website shows their Leetify, FACEIT and Steam stats, with a statistical analysis, right in the Steam overlay.
- Is CStonx free?#
- Yes. The app and the website are free, with no ads.
- Which game modes are supported?#
- Premier, Competitive and FACEIT are tracked by default. Wingman and other modes can be enabled in the app’s CS2 tab, “Suivre les parties” (tracked matches) section.
- Does it work on FACEIT?#
- Yes. FACEIT matches are detected automatically, just like Premier and Competitive matches.
- Does it work on Mac, Linux or Steam Deck?#
- The app only runs on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). The website pages open in any browser, on a computer or a phone.
- Do I need a Leetify or FACEIT account?#
- No. A Steam account is enough. A player’s Leetify stats only show if they are registered on Leetify, and their FACEIT stats only if they have a FACEIT account.
Security
- Can I get a VAC or FACEIT ban?#
- No. CStonx never touches the game: no memory reading, no injection, no game file modified. It only uses official features provided by Valve.
- What does the app send to the website?#
- Only the public Steam IDs of the players in your match and the match state (map, score, rounds, your stats), over an encrypted connection. It doesn’t sign in to your Steam account and all stats lookups are done by the website. Details on the Privacy page.
- Windows says “Windows protected your PC”#
- That’s the SmartScreen warning, shown for software that isn’t digitally signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. See Installation.
- My antivirus blocks the file#
- Some antivirus software distrusts small, recent programs. Only download the app from the website link and compare its fingerprint with the one published with each release (see Verify your download). If it matches, you can allow it; otherwise, delete the file.
- Can I share my personal key?#
- No. It lets anyone send matches to your page. If you think it leaked, regenerate it in your settings: the old one stops working immediately.
Access and account
- How do I get access?#
- Sign in with Steam and request access. During the beta, each request is approved manually: you then get your personal key to paste into the app. See Sign-in and access.
- How long does approval take?#
- Requests are approved manually, as soon as possible. You can set up the app with your key while you wait, and a notification tells you when you’re approved.
- I regenerated my key and the app stopped working#
- That’s expected: the old key is disabled. Copy the new one from your settings, paste it in the app’s Accueil (Home) tab and click Enregistrer (Save).
Stats and CStonx analysis
- Why do some players have no Leetify stats?#
- Since January 2026, Leetify only shares the profiles of players registered with them. FACEIT and Steam fill in when possible.
- Why do other players’ match stats only show at the end?#
- During the match, only your own stats are available live (plus the teammates you spectate after dying). The full table of the 10 players arrives once the match is over.
- What does “Not identified” mean?#
- These players’ team isn’t known yet: they are counted neither as allies nor as opponents. Their team shows up as soon as the app sees them, at the latest at the end of the match.
- What is the CStonx analysis?#
- An experimental statistical measure, not proof of cheating. It compares a player’s performances with those of players of the same level and gives a risk from 0 to 100 (a typical player sits around 15), with a confidence that depends on the amount of data. A private profile, a young account or having no FACEIT account are never suspicious on their own. See the CStonx analysis.
- Where do the “CStonx stats” come from?#
- From the matches CStonx saw: analysed demos and imported end-of-match scoreboards. Each match benefits all 10 players, not only the one who shared it. These are not career stats. See CStonx stats.
- What does the coloured bar next to a player mean?#
- Players in the same group probably queued together: Steam friends, shared matches in your history, on FACEIT or on Leetify. They share the same bar colour (and the “premade” badge in the Detailed view); hover it to see the clues.
- What does the ring next to a player mean?#
- You already played with or against this player in your history. Hover it to see the number of matches, with or against, and the record.
Pages and privacy
- Who can see my page?#
- It depends on its visibility: public (listed in the directory), unlisted (visible to anyone with the link) or private (only you, signed in with Steam). Change it in your settings.
- How long are my matches kept?#
- 1 to 7 days depending on your setting (3 days by default), then they are deleted automatically. Per-player stats taken from matches (kills, damage, rounds…) are kept one year at most for CStonx stats and the analysis.
- Can other players see my notes?#
- No. Your notes and tags on a player are only visible to you.
Common issues
- Stats don’t show up, what should I do?#
- First check the app’s Accueil (Home) tab: it tells you what’s missing. Then check the status page: Leetify, FACEIT or Steam may be having issues. Otherwise, follow the troubleshooting guide.
- Some players are missing from my match#
- The “Players found” counter shows how many were identified. Click Rafraîchir (Refresh) in the app’s CS2 tab (or “Rafraîchir les joueurs” in the menu of its icon next to the clock). Missing players show up at the latest at the end of the match.
- The Steam overlay doesn’t open in game#
- In Steam, open Settings › In Game and enable the Steam overlay while in-game, then restart CS2. You can also open your page on a second screen or your phone.
