Troubleshooting
Fix common CStonx issues: app, key, missing players, Steam overlay, missing stats, notifications, forum.

App messages
| Message | Fix |

| Clé refusée (key rejected) | Copy your key again from your settings (it may have been regenerated), then Enregistrer (Save). |
| Injoignable (unreachable) | Check your connection and the website address (https://cstonx.thaskow.fr), then the status page. |
| Accès refusé (access denied) | Your access isn’t approved yet or was removed: check the My CStonx access page. |
| En attente de Steam (waiting for Steam) | Launch Steam. |
| CS2 introuvable (CS2 not found) | CS2 tab, Choisir le dossier… and select the CS2 install folder. |
| Ancienne config (old configuration) | CS2 tab, Installer la config, then restart CS2. |
| Lancé, rien reçu (running, nothing received) | Restart CS2 if the configuration was just installed. |
App state on your page
| State | Fix |
|---|---|
| App never connected | Run CStonx on your PC and paste your personal key. |
| App offline | The app isn’t running or lost its connection: restart it. |
| App connected, Steam not detected | Launch Steam so the players in your match can be detected. |
Nothing shows up during the match
- Check that the mode you play is tracked (CS2 tab, “Suivre les parties” section).
- Check that you are looking at the right page and that your access is approved.
- Reload the page if the dot at the top says “Offline”.
- If everything is green and nothing shows up, report the issue.
Missing players or stats
- Players found 7/9: click Rafraîchir (Refresh) in the app’s CS2 tab or Rafraîchir les joueurs in its icon menu. Missing players show up at the latest at the end of the match.
- No public Leetify profile: the player isn’t registered on Leetify. FACEIT and Steam fill in when possible.
- Empty match stats for other players: expected during the match, they arrive afterwards.
- Not enough data in the CStonx analysis: CStonx hasn’t seen enough matches or measurements for this player yet.
The Steam overlay doesn’t open
In Steam, Settings › In Game: enable the Steam overlay while in-game and check its shortcut, then restart CS2. Meanwhile, open your page on a second screen.
Windows or the antivirus blocks the app
See the SmartScreen warning and download verification.
I don’t get notifications
- Check the notification type in your settings.
- Enable notifications on each device and allow them in the browser.
- On iPhone or iPad, open the website from its home screen icon.
I can’t post on the forum
You need approved access and a linked Discord account. A quarantined message stays hidden until moderators review it.
Report an issue
On the forum or on GitHub. Describe what happens and attach the app log: Journal (Log) tab, Copier (Copy) button. Security issues must not be reported publicly: follow the security policy linked on GitHub.
